Penn Honors Diversity (PHD) Symposium 2020 POSTPONED

The University of Pennsylvania regrets to announce the Penn Honors Diversity (PHD) Symposium has been postponed due to concerns for the health and wellbeing of student attenders traveling to our campus. It is our hope that we can provide virtual programming to applicants, and hold the symposium at a future time when it is safe to travel and gather in large groups.

We recognize that many colleges and universities have been disrupted due to the global outbreak of coronavirus disease (COVID-19). It is our hope that we can host the Symposium as planned on campus in 2021.

The PHD Symposium is a two-day plus program for students to (a) network with faculty and current graduate students, (b) learn about cutting-edge research and PhD training opportunities at Penn, (c) present their work to faculty and students in a poster session, and (d) attend workshops and seminars about the admissions process, funding opportunities, life as a graduate student, etc.
